Cognitive Accessibility Beyond the Alt Tags, with an Interactive Exercise

Description: Hosted by Softrams, this event focuses on commonly overlooked cognitive accessibility issues, which affect nearly 20% of people.
It includes an interactive exercise using practical solutions for improving UI for cognitive accessibility.
GAAD 2022: A Conversation with the Honorable Tony Coelho, Jenny Lay-Flurrie, and Joe Devon

Un/Ravel: Stories that tie us together

has worked hard to pull together! Un/Ravel is a new event series hosted by Tamman in partnership with Indy Hall to help create a more empathetic community through storytelling and understanding. The first event in this series will focus on Dignity and will feature Shannon DeVido, Alexandra Hunt, and Terrill Haigler (Ya Fav Trashman).
Mark Global Accessibility Awareness Day

Description: A11yBay and their partner, Meetups are hosting 3 guests to talk about access and inclusion! The event will feature Ben Congleton, Meryl Evans, and Chris McMeeking and will discuss accessibility mistakes for small businesses, the importance of communicating in multiple ways, and how WCAG doesn’t always map perfectly to native iOS and Android development.
